By using Free Item Finder ("we," "our," or "us") and our service at freeitemfinder.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Free Item Finder website and service. By creating an account or using any part of our service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Service Description

Free Item Finder is a subscription service that monitors publicly available free-item listings across CraigsList, Freecycle, and TrashNothing and delivers curated digests and alerts to subscribers. We do not own, host, or control the underlying listings.

3. Subscription and Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly at the rate corresponding to your selected plan: Basic ($19.99/mo), Cruiser ($49.99/mo), or Pro ($99.99/mo).
Payment is processed by Stripe. You authorize recurring charges to your payment method on file.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you cancel, you retain access through the end of your paid period.
Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice prior to your next billing date.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes. You will not:

Use the service to harass, spam, or contact users of listed items without their consent.
Use automated scraping bots to access our service in violation of our reasonable access limits.
Republish, redistribute, or commercialize listings from our service without the original poster's consent and appropriate attribution.
Use our service in any way that violates applicable law.

5. Third-Party Content

Listings and their content are provided by third-party platforms (CraigsList, Freecycle, TrashNothing). We do not control, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy or availability of third-party listings. Use third-party listings at your own discretion and review the relevant platform's own terms.

6. Intellectual Property

The Free Item Finder name, logo, design, and content on our platform are our property or our licensors'. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our branding without written permission. Listing photos belong to their original uploaders; we do not claim ownership over third-party images.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT LISTINGS ARE ACCURATE, AVAILABLE, OR LEGAL TO PICK UP. VERIFY ALL INFORMATION DIRECTLY WITH THE LISTING PLATFORM BEFORE TRAVELING TO A PICKUP LOCATION.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FREE ITEM FINDER AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY DAMAGES FOR LOST OPPORTUNITIES, TRAVEL COSTS, OR ITEMS UNAVAILABLE BY THE TIME YOU ARRIVE.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we believe your use poses a risk to other users or our service. You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Palm Beach County, Florida.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address on your account or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
